For a luxurious hand/body cream use 20% base...10% additives (butter,oils,fragrance)...70% water.

For a lotion, use 14% Base....6% additives.........80% water.

ONE POUND OF CREAM BASE WILL YIELD 4.5 - 5 LBS CREAM

For one pound cream :

3.5 oz Cream Base

1.28 oz additives( fragrance, butter, oils, etc)

11.2 oz water

For approximately 4.5 to 5 lb yield:

16 oz Cream Base

5.8 oz additives

50.8 oz water

Lotion Recipe:

For one pound yield of Lotion

2.26 oz Cream Base

.64 additives and please note this is .64 oz ounce, not 64 ounces

For approximately 7 lb yield of Lotion:

16 oz Cream Base

4.26 oz additives
